That Time When Tisha Campbell And Tichina Arnold Teamed Up To Re-Do The Emotions “Don’t Ask My Neighbor”

Once upon a time, actresses Tisha Campbell and Tichina Arnold had hidden singing talents that could compete in the major leagues.

Although the talented pair opted mainly to concentrate on their acting careers, luckily for fans, the two Martin co-stars teamed up to record a remake of The Emotions classic R&B song “Don’t Ask My Neighbor” for the original soundtrack to the 1997 film Sprung.

Tisha Campbell played alongside Paula Jai Parker in the Rusty Cundieff directed film. To complement the song, Campbell and Arnold also did a seductively tender music video for the soundtrack single.

Gorgeous, confident and the new wave at that time, Campbell and Arnold have remained best buds for the last couple of decades. The pair recently hosted the Soul Train Awards together where they performed a “Savage” inspired dance, and even did a rapping and singing montage, celebrating Black Girl Magic.

Campbell continues to create music and currently starred in TV series Harley Quinn and Be Someone. Arnold can be seen on the sitcom The Neighborhood.
