‘Selena: The Series’ Cast Counts Down To Show Premiere With Virtual Fan Celebration

A special Virtual Fan Celebration will be held on Dec. 3 to countdown to the premiere of the Netflix original series Selena: The Series. The original series premieres Friday, Dec. 4 on Netflix.

Hosted by Ally Brooke, San Antonio native and the former member of the singing group Fifth Harmony, the Virtual Fan Celebration will include the cast as they honor the life and legacy of the Tejano music queen Selena Quintanilla and her family. The special event will include exclusive clips, special appearances and surprises.

Starring Christian Serratos (Walking Dead), Madison Taylor Baez (Kids Say The Darndest Things), Noemi Gonzalez (East Los High), Gabriel Chavarria (The Purge), Ricardo Chavira (Desperate Housewives) and Seidy Lopez (Training Day), the series follows the Texas singer’s journey from a child doing local gigs around small towns to becoming the most successful female Latin artist of all time.

Selena’s sister Suzette Quintanilla, Moises Zamora, Jaime Davila, Rico Martinez and Simran A. Singh are executive producers of the series. Campanario Entertainment, known for several Latinx productions, such as Mexican Dynasties, Laugh Factory en Espanol and Colossus, spearheaded the project.

Selena: The Series Virtual Fan Celebration premieres Thursday, Dec. 3 at 6 P.M. PST / 8 P.M. CST on YouTube.
