Cardi B Cancelled Book Deal Because Of Judgement From Haters

If fans were waiting on a biography from rapper Cardi B, keep waiting. Cardi B went on T.I.’s podcast Expeditiously this week to talk about their new show on Netflix Rhythm And Flow when she revealed that she had a book deal that she decided to cancel.

“I cancelled the book deal because it was a book about myself,” Cardi B told T.I. “People are just not ready to hear the lifestyle that I lived and the things that I have done. To this day, people still haunt me about things that I said about myself from my past and I just rather keep it nice and clean.”

Cardi B expressed that she has been trying to elevate her life. One example of her life transition was her interview with Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders. The “Money” rapper says that even with her attempts to do positive things, people still judge her from past stories she told on social media.

“People just automatically took it as I was endorsing Bernie. All the republicans were like “Bernie is getting endorsed by a stripper that used to drug and rob men”. I never put nothing in a guy’s drink, [they] get twisted in the club. So, if you want to chill with me after the club…you go to sleep, I’m going to go through your pockets and just leave…they try to compare that to the s**t that Bill Cosby do.”

Fans of Cardi B know that she’s been through an ordeal of tribulations and has stories that would surely entertain and educate the masses. On her social media alone, she’s revealed how she was fired from a grocer job, which eventually led her to stripping.

Cardi B also isn’t shy about discussing her experience with domestic violence and her turbulent relationship with her mother when she was a stripper. Now, the mother of one may not ever deliver a biography because of the judgement from the Internet.
