What 50 Cent’s Left Hand Is Doing For The City Of Houston, Brings Tycoon Fest To Benefit HISD

Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson is doing his part to bring entertainment life to the grand, diverse city of Houston. The award-winning recording artist and business executive presents Tycoon Houston Comedy Music Fest. With all proceeds going to Jackson’s G-Unity Foundation, the one-day fest will feature a heavy lineup of comedians and music artists.

Comedians on the bill include DC Young Fly, Jess Hilarious, Michael Blackson, Lil Duval, Gary Owen, Karlous Miller, B-Simone, D’Lai, and Bill Bellamy. The intriguing list of musical performers consists of Jeep music connoisseur Rotimi, Jacquees, Jeremih, Fetty Wap, and Flo Rida. 50 Cent will take the stage and is said to have a few special guests that will be joining him later.

The event will benefit the G-Unity Business Lab in partnership with the Houston Independent School District and Horizon United Group. Jackson founded the lab to “help students envision their futures as the next generation of minority entrepreneurs and business leaders.”

The 28-week program is open to junior and senior-level students who will have access to after-school labs, foundational sessions in business, a mentorship with active business owners, and exposure to venture capitalism.

Ticket prices start at $49, with resale tickets going well over $500 for floor seats. The festival will take place on Aug. 25 with doors opening at 7 PM CST at the Toyota Center in the city of Houston. Purchase tickets here.
