Houston Is Hosting The First Ever Hip-Hop Food Festival With OMG Food Fest

Houston is one of the best cities in the U.S. The Texas city has brought the world chopped and screwed music, Destiny’s Child, Travis Scott, the Houston Texans and more.

But, one of the best things about H-Town is the food! So, it’s only right that the world’s first Hip-Hop food festival will be in the wonderful, muggy city.

Hosted by Green Light Events, the OMG Food Fest will take place on Saturday, March 14 from 2 PM to 10 PM at Midtown Park.

Early Bird general admission tickets are on sale right now for $7 per ticket.

The festival will serve up the best in southern delicacies and provide live music, DJ sets and other forms of entertainment celebrating rap, Hip-Hop and old school music.

“You will be two steppin’ with some tacos, bouncin’ with some Boudin, twerkin’ with your turkey legs or you can boogie with your BBQ,” says the FaceBook post.

Food vendors that will be present at the festival will be announced in the coming weeks.

The event’s Facebook page shows that 6,569 people are already planning to attend. Over 55,000 people are interested in going.

The prices are expected to increase as time passes, so get your tickets now.

We can’t wait to see how this event turns out! For more information, check out the EventBrite page.
