That Time When Terrence Howard Spent The Weekend In Jail For Using A Shotgun To Retrieve His Vehicle From The Pound

Terrence Howard is a cold-blooded, fiery genius, according to social media commentators. He demonstrated his incredible acting skills in films, such as Crash, Ray, and Iron Man, and television series Wayward Pines and Empire.

The Chicago-born, but Cleveland-raised, actor has always had the talent to strike a chord of fear in a person with his ability to peel the soul of his ops with his signature no non-sense voice and piercing eye stare. He’s the type of actor that can cause a ruckus on the other side of the door, then walk into the boardroom just as put together and calm as possible.

Where did his believable acting talent come from? Apparently, Howard doesn’t have to look far to find his inner actor, he’s been dramatic his whole life. In an Comedy Hype interview with Talent, the comedian revealed that Howard once used a sawn-off shotgun to obtain his vehicle from a pound. The incident happened during the filming of the 1996 basketball film Sunset Park.

“They towed his truck from somewhere,” Talent said. “This is what I mean by off. He goes home to get a sawn-off shotgun to go to the pound to rob his car back at gunpoint, to get his truck back.”

Talent revealed that Howard ended up spending a weekend in jail because his address could be traced from his car registration. As a result, Howard missed an entire promo photo shoot for the film. Looks like Howard has never been about the games.
