Sacramento Reporter Loses Job After Climbing On Classic Cars At Car Show During Live Broadcast

Good Day Sacramento reporter Angel Cardenas briefly lost his marbles during a live broadcast of a classic car show when he nearly damaged some classic vehicles by climbing on them. The crazy shenanigans occurred before the car show opened to the public.

Cardenas’ hilarious antics started when he climbed the hood of a classic 1950s Thunderbird convertible at the Sacramento International Auto Show.

Bystanders saw the reporter plant his feet on the newly painted vehicle as he posed for the camera. He then aggressively opened the door of a 1957 T-Bird hitting the door of another T-Bird right next to it. His response, “Oh no, I hit that other car. I don’t think anyone saw it.”

His next victim was a Ford hybrid SUV. A sign placed nearby said “keep off”, but the reporter ignored the warning and jumped on the hood making a loud noise. Even when someone yelled “Get off” Cardenas seemed nonchalant about the situation. “Oh boy, I’m going to get in trouble,” he said.

Touching the cars was a major violation that agitated the car show’s producers. It wouldn’t be long before Cardenas was fired. Clearly, Cardenas was over his job and just didn’t care anymore.
