Dwyane Wade Signs Multi-Year Deal With WarnerMedia

Dwyane Wade is flipping the bag in retirement. The former Miami Heat star has signed a multi-year deal to be an analyst for TNT. Wade signed the sports and entertainment deal with WarnerMedia to cover lifestyle and entertainment surrounding the basketball sport.

As a part of the deal, the retired NBA star will do NBA sports coverage with Candace Parker and Shaquille O’Neal on TNT’s Tuesday nights. He will also report on the Final Four and national championships for college basketball. To add to his list of jobs, the three-time champion will work as creative director for the Bleacher Report, as well.

His projects will be showcased on various WarnerMedia platforms, Tuner Sports and CBS Sports. In addition to the sports analyst deal, Wade’s production company, 59th & Prairie Entertainment, partnered with WarnerMedia to create a development deal for additional projects.

“I’m thrilled and grateful to be joining the WarnerMedia family with many exciting opportunities ahead,” Wade said in a statement. “I have great respect for TNT’s team of analysts and their long-standing commitment to quality sports coverage. After 16 seasons in the NBA, I look forward to connecting with my fans in this new role and bringing my own perspective to the game I love.”

Wade retired in 2019 after 16 years in the NBA. He was Miami Heat’s third overall draft pick in 2003. His career has been one riddled with success, with a Finals MVP title, three-time NBA championship wins and several All-Star appearances.
