Nobody Wins When The Family Feuds: Abby Ajayi Delivers Must-Watch Family Drama, ‘Riches,’ Starring Deborah Ayorinde And Sarah Niles

In the words of lyrical titan Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter, “Nobody wins when the family feuds.”

Creator Abby Ajayi delivers viewers a new remarkable drama series, Riches, following the family of wealthy patriarch Stephen Richards. Richards wills his cosmetics empire to the chosen few of a dynamic bloodline.  The favoritism sparks conflict and reveals family secrets, threatening to dismantle the success of the company and challenge longstanding relationships.

The Prime Video series has an order of six episodes for the first season.  Within those episodes, situations that are typical for many families dealing with estate freely flow in this salacious struggle over power and control. Beyond the average family drama, it merges cultures on a global scale to create one universally compelling story.

Deborah Ayorinde portrays Nina Richards, the chosen relative and oldest sibling given power of authority over the corporate empire known as Flair & Glory, alongside her brother Simon, played by actor Emmanuel Imani.  Claudia Richards (Sarah Niles), the stepmother of Nina and Simon, doesn’t take too kindly to her late husband changing his will at the last minute and ripping the inheritance of the company away from her children with the entrepreneur.

Additional cast consists of CJ Beckford, Adeyinka Akinrinade, Ola Orebiyi, and Hermoine Norris.

Executive producers include Ajayi, Alison Carpenter, Polly Hill, Amanda Jenks, Nadine Marsh-Edwards, and Alison Owen.
