Mya, Total, and 702 To Join Queens Of R&B Tour, Led By SWV And Xscape

Women are united on the Queens of R&B Tour, a blast from the past concert series co-headlined by super groups SWV and Xscape. Produced by Live Nation and Mona Scott-Young’s Monami Entertainment, the tour featuring SWV members Coko, Taj, and Lelee, and Xscape members Kandi, Tiny, and Tamika, will travel to 30 cities to perform their legendary discographies.

In a surprise announcement, it was revealed that Mya, Total, and 702 will be joining the ladies as supporting acts on the cross-nation tour.

“I’m incredibly honored to be part of this HERstory making moment in R&B music, and to announce this tour during Women’s History Month makes it much more impactful,” said Scott-Young. “What started as a television series turned into something much greater and I’m proud to be producing this tour, alongside Live Nation, as Xscape and SWV, along with incredible talents 702, TOTAL and MYA, embark on this journey together.”

Scott-Young continued, “These ladies have all given their all to R&B music, despite experiencing the ups and downs of life and career, and it is with great pride and excitement that we bring this highly anticipated concert experience to the fans.”

Mya is best known for her hits “Movin’ On,” “Best of Me,” “Take Me There,” featuring Mase and Blackstreet, and of course, “All About Me,” her debut single that skyrocketed her career in the 1990s. Now independent, Mya has consistently rolled out projects, such as “Whine” and “Anytime,” under her music production banner Planet 9.

Total, originally consisting of Kima, Keisha, and Pam, also made their impact in the 1990s as they consumed radio airwaves with Bad Boy Records produced hits, “Can’t You See,” “Tell Me What You Want” with Mase, and “What About Us.”

Lastly, 702, known for “Where My Girls At?” and “Get Down Like That,” will accompany the tour. Over the years, the group lost two of its members, Orish Grinstead, who passed away at 27 in 2008, and her twin, Irish Grinstead, who died at the age of 43 in 2023. The remaining members, Kameelah Williams and LeMisha Grinstead, may possibly represent the group on the tour.

Presale tickets will be available March 26 and general tickets March 29 at Ticketmaster.
