Brandon Marshall, Channing Crowder, Fred Taylor, Chad Johnson Give An Exclusive Tour Of An Athlete’s Mindset With Digital Series ‘I AM ATHLETE’

High fashion, exquisite cuisine, and real thorough talk are all the attributes that make the digital talk show I AM ATHLETE one of the top YouTube channels to subscribe to in the new year.

Hosted by NFL legends Brandon Marshall, Channing Crowder, Fred Taylor, and Chad Johnson, the athletes give a firsthand account of an athlete’s life and thought process — all while French Culinary trained personal chef, Chef Nancie, prepares one of her tasty entrees for the fellas.

Premiering in early 2020, the House of Athlete sponsored show started off as a weekly podcast featuring a lineup of NFL stars that discuss real topics surrounding the professional athlete and the overarching influence the role has on family and life after retirement.

The digital series also includes guests from all walks of life to talk about some of the most exclusive and taboo subjects, ranging from thoughts about the opposite sex to personal finances. Viewers also get the inside scoop on locker room conversations surrounding the latest breaking news in sports and a rehashing of past controversial headlines that catapulted the athletes to current fame.

At the height of the racial uprising that occurred after the death of George Floyd in 2020, the athlete quartet — that at the time featured Reggie Wayne instead of Johnson — hosted a special series of episodes discussing the underlining racial tension and systemic inequalities in America under the temporary show moniker I AM BLACK.

The second season premiered on Sept. 4, bringing in Johnson as the new addition to the crew. Recording artist Rick Ross helped bring in the new year in a mid-season appearance where he talked about his start in the rap game and his business endeavors.

In another episode, Marshall and Crowder brought their wives on the show, Michi Marshall and Aja Crowder, to discuss their roles as wives of athletes. The episode titled “What’s It’s Like To Be The Spouse Of An Athlete?” reveals that Johnson is considering a proposal real soon and also delves into a funny story told by Crowder, who recaps the time a bank teller ignored him until one day he cashed a big check catching her attention. A new episode of I AM ATHLETE drops every Monday at 12 p.m. EST on YouTube.
