Director Deon Taylor Thrills in Suspenseful Teaser For New Film ‘Fatale’ Starring Michael Ealy And Hilary Swank

It didn’t take long for director Deon Taylor to deliver ANOTHER ONE for film enthusiasts to enjoy. Known for making riveting films that target real-life issues, such as sex trafficking in Traffik and police corruption in Black and Blue, Taylor is branching out into the femme fatale genre of films.

Fatale follows a married man who is manipulated and tricked by a female police detective into being involved in a mysterious, whirlwind murder scheme.

Michael Ealy (The Intruder, The Perfect Guy) plays opposite Hilary Swank (Logan Lucky, What They Had) in the psychological thriller.

In the trailer, the two can be seen entrenched in a lustful tryst full of suspense. Geoffrey Owens (The Cosby Show, The Have And The Have Nots), Sam Daly (Catching Up, NCIS) and Kali Hawk (Fifty Shades of Black, The Perfect Match) are also part of the cast in Fatale.

Penned by David Loughery (The Intruder, Obsessed), the film is produced by Roxanne Taylor of Hidden Empire Film Group and executive produced by Robert F. Smith.

Self-taught director Deon Taylor has been on a victorious path of incredible movie hits. His 2019 summer thriller The Intruder, starring Michael Ealy and Meagan Good, grossed $36.6 million while the production budget was estimated at $8 million.

In addition, he was able to get the film distributed internationally throughout Africa, Latin America and Asia Pacific, at times a hard feat when it comes to films leading with a black actor.

His dynamic partnership with Roxanne Taylor and Lionsgate, who previously worked with Taylor on Traffik and will be partnering for Fatale, is a breeding ground for unlimited success.

The MouthSoap can’t wait to see this film! Fatale is slated to be released on June 19, 2020.
