Chipotle And Taco Bell Offer Specials In Celebration Of Cinco de Mayo

As Cinco de Mayo approaches, many businesses and restaurants are kicking off campaigns to celebrate the historic festive day.

Chipotle Mexican Grill will be offering free Queso Blanco on May 5. Customers can use promo code QUESO55 when ordering via the Chipotle app or Chipotle.com to get the free cheese. The restaurant will also be extending their free delivery services through May 10.

In an effort to bring Chipotle fans together virtually, Chipotle will be launching their TikTok challenge #ChipotleSponsorMe where fans of the restaurant can compete to win a Chipotle Celebrity Card, an unlimited gift card only given to high-profile influencers and celebrities.

Fans can follow @Chipotle on TikTok and use hashtags #ChipotleSponsorMe and #Contest, along with a creative video about why they should be sponsored. Fans have until 5 p.m. ET on Cinco de Mayo to submit their entries.

Taco Bell is another restaurant that is launching something special for Cinco de Mayo. The infamous taco joint is offering an At Home Taco Bar for $25.

The sealed ingredients include seasoned beef, shredded lettuce, shredded cheese, nacho cheese sauce, sour cream, crunch taco shells and flour tortillas.

The restaurant’s website will also feature Taco Bell recipes to help customers recreate signature taco bell foods and drinks.

“Our food has always been a catalyst of bringing people together, and we’re finding new ways to do this from a safe distance until we can all be together again,” said Melissa Friebe, Senior Vice President of Brand Marketing and Consumer Insights at Taco Bell. “No matter the meal they create, we’re excited to give fans a new at home Taco Bell experience.”

Most likely, there are several places that are offering deals, discounts and special orders for Cinco de Mayo, so make sure you ask before you order.
