Cardi B Makes Last Minute Renege On Role In Comedy Pic ‘Assisted Living’

Cardi B has been slowly building her acting credits. She’s been featured in the BET series Being Mary Jane, the exotic dancer empowering Hustlers, and the latest installment of Fast & the Furious named F9: The Fast Saga.

Her next delve into Hollywood was going to be the comedy film Assisted Living, not to be confused with Tyler Perry’s series, set to be directed by Thembi Banks. However, the mother of two made the decision to not do the role at this moment, citing a heavy schedule and overextension as the reasoning, according to Deadline.

Paramount Players had scheduled the $30+ million production to begin this month. Cardi B was cast in the starring role as a petty criminal who has been wrongly accused. She hides out in her grandmother’s retirement home, camouflaged as an elderly woman.

Meanwhile, Cardi B seems to be unbothered by the contractual break with the Viacom-owned company. Nowadays, she’s been promoting her vodka-infused Whip Shots, Rap Snacks where her face brandishes a bag, and her singles, “Up” and “WAP.”

Oh, and she always has time to go back and forth with social media trolls.
