Busta Rhymes Cast To Play Detective In Crime Thriller ‘Red Money’

Music artist and actor Busta Rhymes has been cast to star in the new crime thriller Red Money.

Directed and produced by Steve Stanulis, Busta Rhymes plays Detective Clark who teams up with Detective Brian Strictland played by Kevin Dillon (Entourage) to stop the illegal trade of green money after a government mandate ordering people to turn in green money for red money within one year.

Red money would be the only acceptable currency after the one year deadline. As a result, the city goes into a frenzy of crime.

Busta Rhymes, real name Trevor Tahiem Smith Jr., has been in several productions, including King of the Dancehall, Shaft and Higher Learning.

Production is set to begin this summer in New York City.
