Benzino Bares His Soul (And Body) In New D’Angelo Style Music Visual For His Single “The Bigger Picture”

Hip hop news trailblazer and rapper Benzino bares his soul in the music visual for his new single “The Bigger Picture,” released in mid-September. Born Raymond Scott, the former Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta star is shown nude and well-oiled in a single camera music visual that parallels the video for D’Angelo’s “Untitled (How Does It Feel)” from his Voodoo album.

On the song, Benzino dispatches his emotions about losing someone he loves. He raps, “Too complicated, really I ain’t trippin’ | Had me counting days that you’re missing.”

“The Bigger Picture” is produced by Young Kros Beats and directed by Kevin Goolsby. Some fans appear to love the confident proclamation, while others thought the visual was a spoof. On Instagram, Watkins_oni said, “Nice love it.” “Is this serious,” responded the user blackmambathemillionaire.

Benzino has been a part of the hip hop industry since the 1980s when he helped launch the rap magazine The Source. He would later create another hip hop news brand titled Hip Hop Weekly in 2006.

Meanwhile, Benzino kept up his music career throughout the years, releasing four studio albums, seven mixtapes, and making appearances on reality shows, such as Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars and The Next: 15.
