Thousands Of Fans Turn Out For Pop Smoke’s Funeral Procession, 50 Cent Executive Producing Pop Smoke’s Last Album

It’s like history repeating itself again. Just as Notorious B.I.G. and Nipsey Hussle were sent off in a public funeral procession after their violent and untimely deaths, Pop Smoke received the same love.

In the streets of the Brooklyn neighborhood Canarsie, thousands of people gathered together to mourn and celebrate the life of 20-year-old rapper Pop Smoke on Thursday.

People of all ages danced in the streets for about 10 blocks as horses pulled a carriage ending the funeral procession at 92nd Street.

Pop Smoke’s casket lay in the carriage with his artist name engraved on the glass windows dressed with white curtains. Along the route, blue and white candles lined the wall where a mural of Pop Smoke was placed on 82nd Street.

Family, friends and fans sent Pop Smoke out the right way, bumping his songs “Welcome to the Party” and “Dior” from their cars as they rode through the streets. Fans could be heard yelling out “Woo”, lingo made popular by Pop Smoke.

50 Cent could not physically be at the procession but did include his personal Lamborghini in the service. The Power star is allegedly executive producing Pop Smoke’s unfinished album that is supposed to come out in May. The album will feature several artists, although those artists have not been confirmed yet.

Pop Smoke was gunned down on Feb. 19 in a Hollywood Hills home after a party held at the house when four masked men broke into the home and shot and killed him. His family had a private ceremony a week before the public funeral procession. RIP Pop Smoke
