Season 14 Of ‘The Real Housewives Of Atlanta’ Looks Thirsty And Appears To Give Less Of Moore [Trailer]

Let’s get straight to the point. The Real Housewives of Atlanta is about to make its return to the small screen without the diva Nene Leakes, who planted the territory claim flag in the world of reality, and devoid of the swirly whirlwind that Porsha Williams brought to wave that flag. With only Kandi Burruss, Sheree Whitfield, Kenya Moore, and Marlo Hampton being the most prominent Housewives or socialites to hold the fort down, the upcoming season could be either a precedent to a new era of entertainment from the Bravo series or a cringe-worthy end.

What that means for the fans who have watched for the last 14 seasons is that they will have to be flexible and receptive to change. But honestly, besides the multi-talented Burruss and newcomer Olympic gold medalist Sanya Richards-Ross actually checking all the boxes for RHOA sustenance — they’re actually wives in Atlanta with a lot going on — the other role fillers have big shoes to fill.

Yes, there’s Drew Sidora too, but she’s returning with the same old, crunchy storyline of funny lace fronts and a husband who is not husband material. She manages to spark up a beef with Whitfield. However, if its anything like that one she had with LaToya Ali we will pass.

So, are we going to watch?

Eh, yeah! The first look trailer alone had our ratchet frequencies vibrating. For starters, the audacity of a Sunday hat wearing Burruss to blurt out loudly such an absurd statement at a kid’s party. It had the nearby white woman shook.

Or the even more shocking gesture of the RHOA jesters bouncing up and down on a vaginal contraption in a room full of people. Then, just before we fall out of our chairs from palpitations, former cast member Phaedra Harris doesn’t make an appearance on the show, but her wandering eye ex-husband, Apollo Nida, does. Chile!

Of course, to overshadow all the insanity, Bravo threw in a little positivity as they documented Hampton raising boys and the manifestation of Whitfield’s She By Sheree fashion line. Plus, there’s the added solace that we’re going to get less of Moore this season…Oooh, chile!
