Mobile Content Platform Quibi Releases Full Episodes on YouTube

Quibi released full episodes on YouTube for viewers to watch for free.

The 10-minute or less mobile content platform posted episodes of The Stranger, Dummy and Most Dangerous Game in both portrait and landscape modes. There is no word if other shows will be released on YouTube, as well.

Founded by Dreamworks co-founder Jeffrey Katzenberg, Quibi launched on April 6 with over 175 original shows that include scripted programming, news and docu-series.

April 30th marked the last day to take advantage of a 90-day free trial offer, a strategy to increase subscribers and awareness of the mobile service.

After the trial, subscribers are charged starting at $4.99 and up per month, depending on whether viewers opt to include ads in their plans.
