Petition Climbs For Up-And-Coming ATL Rapper Slutty Sonny Who Was Confirmed Dead After Being Hit On LA Highway By Multiple Cars

It’s been nearly two weeks since rapper Slutty Sonny was confirmed as the unidentified victim of a deadly car accident that occurred in Los Angeles early on August 31. A petition titled “Get Justice for Slutty Sonny” has been started on Change.org on the rapper’s behalf. So far, the petition has garnered 3,135 signatures with a goal of 5,000.

Initiated by someone who claims to be a friend, the petition states, “Jordon Williams was my dear friend who passed away.  There’s no current case on his death. Justice hasn’t been served. The police officer who was allegedly the one who hit him needs to be fired and prosecuted. This is the officers batch number 5H7624 and Slutty Sonny was an amazing artist.”

The petition continues, “He deserves justice for what happened to him. He came to LA and been here since March, was announced dead at the scene on the 31st of August. I feel like there isn’t truth being told to the story. Something isn’t right.”

The 20-year-old Atlanta rapper, who was known for his songs “Arachnid,” “Biersack,” and “In The Dark,” was found dead on the northbound I-5 freeway after multiple vehicles struck him, including a Sheriff’s Transport Bus, but he was not properly identified for an entire week.

A missing person’s report was filed and flyers were shared across social media. However, it wasn’t until a Facebook user identified the rapper through photos from the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System on a Facebook group for missing people that it was revealed the person was Slutty Sonny.

As was reported by police, “On the early morning of 8/31/2020 the decedent was a pedestrian on the northbound I-5 freeway when he was struck by multiple vehicles. He was pronounced dead at the scene.”

Criminal charges were not reported and details on the cause of the car accident have not been revealed.

Born Jordon Williams, Slutty Sonny was a rising talent in the underground hip hop scene. He was often compared to the rapper XXXTentacion for his appearance and image. One of his closest friends, TOKYO’S REVENGE, confirmed his passing on Instagram Live.

TOKYO’S REVENGE said that Sonny was possibly dealing with mental health issues days before his disappearance. On the road together for music, Slutty Sonny had been staying with TOKYO’S REVENGE in Los Angeles.

Condolences to his fans, friends and family. Rest in peace Sonny.
