Original Cast Returns For ‘The Best Man: The Final Chapters’ Limited Series

In the case of Malcolm D. Lee’s The Best Man, a new limited series reveals that the game has changed but the players remain the same. Taye Diggs, Regina Hall, Morris Chestnut, Melissa De Sousa, Terrence Howard, Sanaa Lathan, Nia Long, and Harold Perrineau are all reprising their roles in the relationship drama repurposed for television.

In the exciting official teaser, The Best Man: The Final Chapters shows off the star-studded cast in a storyline that occurs 20 years after the last reunion that rehashed the fallout of the past in The Best Man Holiday, released in 2013. Harper (Diggs) is enjoying a prosperous life as a New York book author when an offer to turn his book, Unfinished Business, into a film encourages him to reach out to the subjects of the enticing literature.

It doesn’t appear that Monica Calhoun, who played Mia in The Best Man and The Best Man Holiday, will be in the limited series, but no official word has confirmed that. In addition, Nicole Ari Parker is credited, however she doesn’t appear in the teaser.
