Mike Tyson And Jake Paul To Duke It Out In “Biggest NFL Stadium” On Live Netflix Stream

Times are very bizarre, and nothing makes that clearer than the announcement that heavyweight champion Mike Tyson will allow (yes allow) up-and-coming boxer Jake Paul to step in the boxing ring with him.

Most Valuable Promotions and Netflix made the announcement early on March 7 saying “El Gallo” and “The Baddest Man Ever” will duke it out in front of 260 million Netflix subscribers in a live telecast of the fight. The global boxing event will take place at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on Saturday, July 20, 2024.

“The biggest fight of the 21st century, in the biggest NFL stadium in the US, broadcast live, on the biggest streaming platform in the world… that’s the MVP way,” Jake Paul posted on X. “My sights are set on becoming a world champion, and now I have a chance to prove myself against the greatest heavyweight champion of the world.”

The Moment Jake Paul Tells His Dad The News

Paul further lamented that he will “put Iron Mike to sleep” in the enthusiastic post. Some fans are not as excited as Paul about the fight with several pointing out the massive 30-year age gap between Paul, 27, and Tyson, 57, makes this a case of “elderly abuse.” Others feel like Tyson fighting the notorious YouTuber “tarnishes” his legacy as a “real boxer.”

One X user wrote, “I got $100 that says Mike won’t knock him out. Or even hurt him. Just like all the others Jake has ‘fought.’ If this was prime, mean, hungry Mike Tyson – whatever they are paying would not be enough to get me in the ring with him. God, he was ferocious.”

Even at the age of 57, Tyson has managed to stay in good physical condition, but he will be 58 years old by the time the fight occurs.
