Houston Rapper Recently Signed To Meek Mill, Yung Ro, Saves Man From Jumping Off Roof

Yung Ro saved a man from jumping off a roof of a Valero gas station in Southwest Houston on Thursday, according to local reports. The footage was recorded on Instagram Live.

Police and firemen surrounded the gas station located at Beechnut Street and Cook Road when Yung Ro, real name Roland Page, approached asking the man what he was doing.

“Don’t play like that. We about to be gone,” a frustrated Yung Ro yelled up to the man before authorities allowed him to go speak the man down.

The man eventually came down from the roof after Yung Ro talked to him.

The “Special Ed” rapper, who is originally from New Orleans, first made headlines after signing a record deal with Meek Mill’s Dream Chasers label back in 2019.

He went on Instagram and told his fans that he would not be splurging on jewelry and cars, but instead was focused on buying a house for his family first.

He received criticism from the likes of West Coast rapper Blueface who made a point that buying jewelry was necessary for the image of a rapper.

However, many fans supported Yung Ro, calling the decision “responsible” and “respectable”.
