DJ Envy And Gia Casey Welcome Sixth Child Ahead Of Upcoming Relationship Book

Gia Casey and Raashaun “DJ Envy” Casey made their final contribution to the world population. The beautiful, East Coast bunch is now complete with six children — and DJ Envy said he’s done. On episodes 200 and 201 of The Casey Crew Podcast, the married couple revealed the entire delivery day experience of their baby girl Peyton Blair Casey.

Peyton’s delivery was extra special for the doting parents. Earlier in the year, Gia sadly received the news that her mother passed away. Shortly thereafter, Gia found out she was pregnant after experiencing miscarriages and going through the in-vitro fertilization (IVF) process.

Due in December, the family revealed the gender of the baby at the MetLife Stadium. Ironically, the day of the delivery, Logan was scheduled to play a championship football game at the same stadium. He ended up winning, all while his mother was in the stands going into labor. Gia had a vaginal childbirth complete with an epidural, and with just three pushes Peyton was born.

Now, naming their children will be as interesting as naming the Wu-Tang Clan or members of the K-pop band BTS. But, we’re going to attempt the challenge. Let’s see…there’s 20-year-old Madison, high school football player Logan, the tiny tots London, Jaxson, Brooklynn, and now, baby Peyton. That’s four girls and two boys. Whew!

If we’re exhausted, we know Envy is, as well. Much so that the Breakfast Club DJ is contemplating receiving a vasectomy — a medical procedure that blocks the tubes of the reproductive system. He has his reasons.

“For one, I don’t want to be the old, old dad. Two, I want all our kids to be financially great,” DJ Envy said. “I think I’m at a age right now, and I’m at a feeling where I just want to relax and watch them grow.”

Gia, on the other hand, wouldn’t mind one more child and even said she would be a good surrogate for others.

The couple’s upcoming relationship book, Real Life, Real Love: Life Lessons on Joy, Pain & The Magic That Holds Us Together, will cover the ups and downs of their courtship and marriage, while giving solid tips and insight on what worked for them. The book due out April 19, 2022, is available for pre-order now.

And maybe in the future, we’ll get a parenting book from The Casey Crew.
