Beyonce Drops Huge Bag On Lemon Perfect, Helping Brand Close Out Series A Funding At $31 Million

The zero sugar, cold-pressed lemon water product known as Lemon Perfect has reached one of its financial goals with the help of Lemonade music artist Beyonce. Currently valued at $100 million, Lemon Perfect secured $31 million in its Series A funding round because of the superstar’s investment. The partnership made sense for Beyonce who seeks investments in brands and projects with attached socially responsible missions.

“I don’t typically enjoy drinks without added sugar, but Lemon Perfect is delicious,” Beyonce said in a statement. “It was an easy decision to invest in something that not only tastes great and is healthy, but also, and most importantly, allows choosing a healthier lifestyle to be affordable and accessible to everyone.”

“We are honored and humbled that Beyoncé has become a part of the Lemon Perfect family,” Yanni Hufnagel, CEO and founder, said. “She is a worldwide icon whose talent, character, and positivity are unsurpassed.”

Hufnagel continued, “Her investment and the energy it sparks will accelerate Lemon Perfect’s rise toward its goal of becoming the number one brand in the multibillion-dollar enhanced water category by market share.”

Lemon Perfect comes in various flavors, such as peach raspberry, dragon fruit mango, kiwi star fruit, and best-seller just lemon. Each flavor is infused with a squeeze of organic lemon.

Additional Series A investors included Beechwood Capital, Melitas Ventures, and Trousdale Ventures, among others, amounting to $42.2 million in total funding.
