Bank, Beauty & Bars: Lola Brooke Recruits Latto And Yung Miami On “Don’t Play With It” Remix [Video]

Brooklyn femcee Lola Brooke has linked with the South to add sauce on her massive hit, “Don’t Play With It.” The petite lyricist recruited the ATL’s very own Latto and Miami beau Yung Miami for the remix of the viral song, with the official music video releasing on Friday (Mar. 24).

The video kicks off with Lola Brooke’s infamous bars. Latto, donning an Avirex fit, is at her best, delivering hard-cutting bars addressing her critics. She raps, “They can’t stand to see me winning, so they blame payola.”

Yung Miami follows as the third talent, channeling the soul of South Florida rap, very reminiscent of rapper Trina. There’s no mystery that she’s calling out her former rumored flame, Diddy, as she declares that she’s single.

Yung Miami quips, “Caresha single and sadiddy, and he okay with it / No shade with it, no shade with it.”

At the time of this writing, the music video was trending at No. 7 on YouTube with a total of 172,741 views within six hours. The number is certain to spurt upward throughout the weekend as word travels.

The original “Don’t Play With It” released in 2021 featured Billy B, another spectacular rapper whose contribution gained the single several fans. Over 25 million views are documented on YouTube and social media is bombarded with several memes and reenactments using the song.
