Lecrae Invests In Tech Company MXD, Delivering Affordable Audio Mixing To Creators

Positive hip-hop artist and record label owner Lecrae is stepping into the world of technology with his latest investment in audio mixing company MXD.

Born Lecrae Devaughn Moore, the “Blessings” rapper invested in the innovative tech company when he saw the convenience of having an affordable resource that provides mixing within a 48-hour turnaround.

Creators can upload their music tracks online to MXD and have their songs professionally mixed by GRAMMY-winning engineers.

The process is fairly simple. MXD users just have to upload their files, pick a mix type and then review the mix for finalization. MXD is not exclusive to music. Users can also have sound for TV, film and podcast projects mixed by MXD.

“We’re in a time in history where technology is providing solutions for nearly every field. The entertainment world needs these solutions and I’m committed to making sure they are affordable and accessible,” said Lecrae in a statement.

“Building a record label from the ground up has given me a deeper appreciation for what it takes to put out your music independently,” he continued. “Although I’m now partnered with a major label, I started out as an indie artist and still run an independent label. I wish technology like MXD was available when I started out.”

Prices start at $95 to mix a single track. A single revision is $15. For a mix and revision, the cost is $105. It costs $2,015 for 25 mixes. MXD is currently running a promotion for first-time customers. A single track mix is 50% off on the first order.
