Two Box Sets Featuring Music From Amy Winehouse Will Be Released In Holiday Months

Legendary singer Amy Winehouse is getting two posthumous box sets. Her top memorable singles, “Rehab,” “Stronger Than Me,” “You Know I’m No Good,” and “Love Is A Losing Game” will be included in the 7″ box set, titled 12×7: The Singles Collection.

The songs are top-charting singles from her discography featured on the hit albums Frank, Back To Black and Lioness: Hidden Treasures. Along with the collection of singles, the 5CD collection will come with a 20-page lyrics booklet and art cards.

The second box set, titled The Collection, will include parts of Winehouse’s concert recording Live In London (Live from Shepherd’s Bush Empire, 2007) where she performed songs such as, “Valerie,” various remixes, and songs from Frank, Back To Black and Lioness: Hidden Treasures.

Battling drug and alcohol addiction, Winehouse died at the age of 27 from alcohol poisoning on July 23, 2011. Before her death, she had established an award-winning music career that included a Brit Award, two Echo Music Awards, one Elle Style Award, one GAFFA Award, six Grammy Awards, and three Ivor Novello Awards, among many others.

Latest in the news, Winehouse’s father, Mitch Winehouse, revealed that there could possibly be a film and broadway show about Winehouse’s life released in 2021.

12×7: The Singles Collection will be released on Nov. 20, while The Collection will be released via Island/UMe on Dec. 4.
