Travis Scott’s JACKBOYS Are Relentless, Ending 2019 Dropping Back To Back Music And Videos

One of Houston’s biggest breakout stars, Travis Scott, introduced us to JACKBOYS via an end of the year compilation project.

Scott’s record label Cactus Jack Records brought together its top talent, including Travis Scott, Sheck Wes, Don Toliver, and Chase B, to deliver a seven-track album.

Feature spots showcase a bevy of artists on top of their game like Quavo, Offset, Lil Baby, Rosalia, Young Thug, Luxury Tax 50, and Pop Smoke.

In addition to the album, Cactus Jack dropped accompanying music videos for “GANG GANG”, “GATTI” and an eight minute and 52 second cinematic video “JACKBOYS”.

Directed by Cactus Jack and White Trash Tyler, the mini movie features the whole crew as it builds up to scenes from the “GANG GANG” and “GATTI” music videos.

The score is arranged by Travis Scott, Mike Dean and Sarah Schachner. Nathan Scherrer, Randy Donaldson, Sam Lecca and Jay Tauzin join as producers.

The vibe of the videos are very underground and jagged, similar to the grittiness of the film Uncut Gems. “GANG GANG” also features a version of the Elon Musk’s bulletproof Tesla Cybertruck in the background, a nice touch with a meaningful message.
