The MouthSoap In A Bubble™: Security Applies Pressure To Rolling Loud Fan That Caught GloRilla’s Glasses

Life’s not fair. One day, you’re a music fan who is excited to spend a grip of money to see your favorite artist at a live concert. The next, you’re facing the ultimate embarrassment of security applying pressure to you for simply doing what a fan would do.

It happened to a Rolling Loud Miami attendee, who at the moment is unidentified. But, thanks to TikTok poster @Jazzyeboy, footage has surfaced of a young male in a green hat being harassed by security.

It all started when GloRilla came out on the Rolling Loud stage and nonchalantly threw her designer glasses into the audience. The young man on the front row caught the glasses and was immediately enamored with the hip hop star.

Certainly, as his friends and nearby attendees congratulated him, he bashed in the glorious moment. A moment that didn’t last long. One of GloRilla’s team reps approached the man to retrieve the coveted glasses. The young man refused to give them up to which security aggressively obtained the glasses, leaving the man flabbergasted and helpless.

Since then, the incident has gone viral. From an entertainer’s perspective, there could be many reasons why their team would fetch items that they’ve thrown in the crowd. For one, the item could be very expensive. Or, it could be a borrowed item that must be returned in order to avoid an unexpected bill invoice.

Still, it doesn’t feel good to be the subject of such humiliation on both the artist and the fan involved. As evidenced by the various comments, an artist throwing out accessories and then retrieving them in such an ungracious way makes their brand look like a ruse. More importantly, if the fan is not a good sport, the artist could lose a fan for life.

What would you do if your favorite artist had their team retrieve an item they threw to you?
