Talent Agency CAA Searching For New Global Inclusion & Diversity Leader

The Creative Artists Agency (CAA) is looking to hire someone to lead their Global Inclusion and Diversity unit. The talent agency is searching for a person that is able to break down barriers in the workplace and dismantle systemic racism and discrimination throughout its organization.

“You will need to inspire new points of view at all levels and diplomatically challenge mindsets to remove systemic and cultural barriers,” the call reads. “You take a systemic approach to solving systemic problems.”

The search comes on the hills of Hollywood reacting to the latest grievances expressed through nationwide protests of systemic and institutional racism. While there has been some progress in the world of Hollywood, there is still a challenge to hire black people in powerful, decision-making positions.

In an effort to reform the status quo, some companies are taking a proactive stance by firing problematic employees, changing discriminative policies and hiring black people.

The person in the role will report to the Chief Human Resources Officer and the Global Head of Human Resources Operations.

Creative Artists Agency (CAA), is the world’s leading full service entertainment, media, and sports agency. They represent a host of professionals working in television, film, music, theater, video games, sports, and digital content.

Some of their clients include Nick Cannon, Jamie Foxx, Antoine Fuqua, Lupita Nyong’o, Jordan Peele, Will Smith, Beyonce, Ludacris, Trevor Noah and Andrew Yang, to name a few.
