SZA Re-enacts Scenes From Quentin Tarantino’s ‘Kill Bill’ For Official Video, Featuring Vivica A. Fox

SZA has been bitten by the acting bug.  The sultry “Good Days” singer gives viewers an eyeful in the official video for her single “Kill Bill” off of her album SOS.

In Quentin Tarantino fashion, SZA pays homage to the legendary martial arts flick that shares the same title.  Vivica A. Fox, in all of her wonderful glorious beauty, makes a surprise cameo in the cinematic visual directed by Christian Breslauer.

Breslauer working alongside Xiaolong Liu, cinematographer of the narrative, expertly captures the essence of Kill Bill’s most iconic scenes, including the epic sword fight that took place against a color eccentric backdrop, a scene choreographed by Cortland Brown and stunt coordinator Paul Lacovara.

Needless to say, the video strays away from conventional to explore the endless possibilities of creativity within a beloved genre. There’s even a bit of experimenting with anime.  But the most shocking moment comes at the end when a nude SZA dangles from a ceiling only supported by some mighty strong straps…

Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith and Terrance “Punch” Henderson are executive producers, along with Luga Podesta, Brandon Bonfiglio, and Andrew Lerios.

SZA is currently gearing up for her SOS Tour, which kicks off on Feb. 21 in Columbus, OH, and has a total of 17 dates, including stops in Chicago, IL, Detroit, MI, Austin, TX, and Inglewood, CA.
