Quibi Set For A Supercharged April Launch With Shows From New Hollywood Power Players

Short-form video platform Quibi is curating the future of mobile entertainment with their upcoming launch on April 6. The “quick bites, big stories” distributor will provide movie-quality, 10-minute or less episodes available directly on subscribers’ phones.

Quibi founder Jeffrey Katzenberg, who also serves as chairman, teamed up with CEO Meg Whitman and A-list heads Doug Herzog, Jim Toth, Tom Conrad and Megan Imbres, among others, to rollout 175 original shows in the first year.

The lineup of talent backing the shows is unbelievable. Quibi’s slate will feature shows from Migos’ Offset, Chrissy Teigen, LeBron James, Jennifer Lopez, Chance The Rapper, Lena Waithe and Idris Elba, to name a few.

Here’s a rundown of what the MouthSoap is looking out for:

Skrrt with Offset – Kiari “Offset” Cephus
