Production On ‘Atlanta’, ‘Snowfall’ Comes To A Complete Halt Over Coronavirus

Coronavirus has shut down Hollywood productions all over the city. As word of the COVID-19 virus hit Atlanta and Los Angeles, the productions have been suspended on FX’s Atlanta and Snowfall.

Atlanta, created by Donald Glover, is currently in the third season for the realer than real series. The last episode “Crabs in a Barrel” aired on May 10, 2018.

The show, starring Brian Tyree Henry, Lakeith Stanfield and Zazie Beetz, would be on a two year hiatus by the time the new season airs in 2021.

The late John Singleton’s Snowfall, starring Damson Idris, Carter Hudson and Isiah John, is in its fourth season with the last season airing on Sept. 11, 2019.

Other productions that are temporarily shut down include VH1’s Love and Hip Hop Atlanta and Chris Rock’s Fargo.
