Playboi Carti And Actor Jaylan Tucker Arrested After Being Stopped For Expired Tags

Oh no! Jordan Carter, best known by his stage name Playboi Carti, was riding through Georgia’s Clayton County in his new Lamborghini when police stopped the rapper for expired tags on Friday.

The simple police stop became a big ordeal when Clayton County police allegedly found weapons, marijuana and prescription drugs in the vehicle.

The “No Time” rapper faces three charges, including improperly passing an emergency vehicle, failure to update license plate decal and possession of marijuana.

Up-and-coming actor Jaylan Tucker (Bad Tutor, A Walk In The Park) was arrested alongside Playboi Carti and faces gun and drug charges for three guns, Xanax, codeine and oxycodone recovered from the vehicle. He remains in Clayton County jail, while Carti was released on bond within hours of his arrest.

Playboi Carti is one of the top artists on The MouthSoap Playlist. Born the day that Tupac Shakur died on September 13, 1996, he has been arguably knighted the “reincarnated Tupac of this generation” not because of his lyrical ability, but more-so because of his tenacity to produce hit after hit while exuding the very charisma and “IT” factor that ‘Pac possessed.

So far, the “Magnolia” rapper has released two albums, Playboi Carti and Die Lit. His highly anticipated album Whole Lotta Red was due for a Spring 2020 release but has been delayed by his label due to the coronavirus pandemic.
