Odell Beckham Jr. Upset He Lost His Earring In Choke Out By Marlon Humphrey

If you blinked, you might have missed it. Cleveland Browns Odell Beckham Jr. and Baltimore Ravens Marlon Humphrey went head to head in Sunday night’s football game.

All throughout the game, there were instances of aggressive scuffles until finally it came to a full on choke out session. It started when OBJ punched the defensive back in the middle of a play. Humphrey was not playing with the wide receiver, at all.

It was the third quarter. The Browns were up by 7, with a score of 17-10. Soon as he had a chance, Humphrey landed on top of OBJ and proceeded to choke the mess out of him, while the referees looked on. Both received personal fouls, but no one was thrown out the game.

Head coach of the Cleveland Browns, Freddie Kitchens, said he would report his concerns to the NFL. “I saw what you saw. He was getting choked on the ground. They get away with that because it’s Odell,” Kitchens said. “I’m going to be on the phone with Al when I get on the bus.”

The Cleveland Browns won 40-25, but OBJ only had 20 receiving yards and 2 catches in the game.

At the press conference after the game, Humphrey said he apologized to the star athlete. “It’s not really the brand of football I want to represent,” Humphrey said. “The whistle blowed. It has to be over with.”

When press asked Beckham his opinion, he said, “I’m just upset I lost my earring.”
