Netflix Announces Season 5 Date For ‘Cobra Kai’ [Trailer]

Netflix’s Cobra Kai is returning for its fifth season, to the excitement of the series’ loyal fans. A trailer released by the streaming service shows the aftermath of the All Valley Tournament.

In season 5, just off the cusp of his All Valley Tournament victory, Terry Silver is actively expanding the Cobra Kai empire, while attempting to overwhelm all styles of karate with his “No Mercy” style. Meanwhile, Daniel LaRusso is forced to ask an old friend for help due to Kreese still being imprisoned and Johnny Lawrence putting karate on hold in order to repair the damage he’s caused.

The Emmy-nominated series is executive produced by Ralph Macchio, Will Smith, James Lassiter, Caleeb Pinkett, Heyden Schlossberg, Jon Hurwitz, Josh Heald, and Susan Ekins.

Macchio, William Zabka, Tanner Buchanan, Xolo Mariduena, Mary Mouser, and Courtney Henggeler are among the starring cast.

Season 5 of Cobra Kai is set for a Sept. 9 premiere on Netflix.
