Mathew Knowles, 67, went on Good Morning America this morning to reveal that he is a survivor of breast cancer.
Beyonce’s father and former manager first learned of the condition when he saw a drop of blood on his sheets. He went to the doctor to get a mammogram and was told that he had breast cancer.
Luckily, due to early detection, he was able to get treatment and is now cancer free.
“From a man’s perspective, I’m thinking why me,” Knowles said to Michael Strahan. “The rest of my life I have to be very aware.”
