Kerry Washington Stars In ‘UnPrisoned,’ Tracy McMillan’s Father-Daughter, Half-Hour Comedy

From Tracy McMillan comes the new half-hour comedy UnPrisoned, starring the incomparable Kerry Washington and Delroy Lindo.

The story plot inspired by McMillan’s life follows Edwin Alexander (Lindo) as he is released from a 17-year stint in prison only to be reintroduced into the life of his daughter Paige (Washington), who is a relationship therapist, and grandson Finn (Faly Rakotohavana).  The messy arrangement is further complicated when Edwin moves in with Paige and Finn and gets involved with Paige’s personal life.

The 8-episode series order, also starring Edwin Lee Gibson, Marque Richardson, Marla Gibbs, and Jee Young Han, premieres March 10 on Hulu.
