Judge Grants Guardianship Of Nipsey Hussle’s Daughter To His Family

On Tuesday (Oct. 15), a California judge has issued the judgement on the battle over who will be granted guardianship of Nipsey Hussle’s daughter, Emani.

Nipsey Hussle’s mother, Angelique Smith, brother, Sam Asghedom, and sister, Samantha Smith will have legal guardianship of 10-year-old Emani.

Emani’s biological mother, Tanisha Foster, had petitioned in court to gain custody over her daughter, to the dismay of Nipsey’s immediate family. After providing evidence, Nipsey’s family was able to prove that Foster was and still isn’t fit to take care of Emani.

The court also ordered that Nipsey’s fiancée Lauren London will retain management over the financial estate of her 3-year-old son with Nipsey, Kross.

The Victory Lap artist was murdered on Slauson Ave. in front of his store Marathon Clothing on March 31. He was only 33.
