What is Jordan Peele up to? That’s what fans of the director’s films are asking after a trailer of the forthcoming pic NOPE showed during one of the Super Bowl ad spots.

The Monkeypaw production solidified its mystery with an enigmatic clip, starring a foxy Keke Palmer (Scream: The TV Series) sporting a curly fro, accompanied by Peele favorite Daniel Kaluuya (Get Out), Steven Yeun (Sorry to Bother You), Barbie Ferreira (Euphoria), and Brandon Perea (American Insurrection).

Nestled in the middle of nowhere California, a group of unsuspecting individuals at Haywood Ranch become witness to an unexplainable supernatural phenomenon. Written and directed by Peele, the sci-fi horror genius leaves a lot to the imagination with the only clues being a few odd lights, running horses, abnormal weather, and some U.F.O.-like circumstances.

Expected to drop in theaters this year, July 22, the day that “America the Beautiful” was written in 1893, fans are anticipating yet another Peele Pic — despite not even knowing what it is about.
