Erykah Badu Concert Gives Us A “Window Seat” To Some Folks Throwing Hands

Some excited Erykah Badu fans had the time of their lives when the superstar singer graced the stage to sing her famous tune “Window Seat.” Yet, the cosmos had a bit of irony to add to the finger-snapping concert as a couple of concertgoers decided to throw vicious hands during the retrospective song.

Two blue-jean wearing women squared off in their seats, tousling back and forth as Ms. Badu serenaded listeners. One person who was directly next to the buffoonery had some funny commentary.

She yelled out, “Erykah Badu make y’all want to fight?” And later adding, “Y’all missing the show!”

It took nearly one full minute for the two women to be separated by compassionate bystanders, as others in the vicinity were blissfully in ignorance, holding up their phones and singing the lyrics to “Window Seat.”

There’s no indication how the fight ignited or whether Ms. Badu got wind of the incident. The irony of such a pleasant medley being the soundtrack to a chaotic debacle makes for a sad, but well-earned chuckle.
