DaBaby Makes Directorial Debut With Academia Picturesque ‘Ball If I Want To’

From publishing to his upcoming live performances, DaBaby wants all his checks — even the director ones. The multi-chain wearing rapper made his directorial debut with his new music video “BALL IF I WANT TO.”

DaBaby, alongside Gemini Vision — the rapper’s Billion Dollar Baby Ent. associate and video producer, stuck with his signature dance centered themes often found in his music videos. In the less than two minute music video, jocks and cheerleaders dance in the hallways, at the library, and on the sports courts at a school we assume is not a high school.

In real life, DaBaby has proven to be a big draw for the hip hop community snagging a number of accolades, including his single “ROCKSTAR” going 5X platinum, followed by “Suge” going quadruple platinum, and “BOP” going triple platinum.

He’s also trailing a blaze of live performances in 2021 that includes gigs at Rolling Loud in Miami on July 25, Lollapalooza on July 29, and Austin City Limits Music Festival on Oct. 1.
