Arden Cho Leads In Netflix’s Law Firm Drama Series, ‘Partner Track,’ A Story About A First-Generation Asian American Lawyer

From Netflix comes the law firm drama series, Partner Track, starring fan-favorite Arden Cho. Created by Georgia Lee, an award-winning director and a protégé of Martin Scorsese, Partner Track centers on Ingrid Yun (Cho), a first-generation Chinese American lawyer attempting to become partner at a predominately white-male oriented New York City law firm. Six years of non-stop hard work has earned her the consideration of making partner, but when an old-flame becomes her competition, things get a little complicated.

Cho is a familiar face that most notably made an acting impression on Teen Wolf as the character Kira Yukimura. Many fans are ecstatic that the rising star is leading her very own series after her stellar performance on the MTV show.

The 10-episode season is based on the acclaimed novel of the same name by Helen Wan, published in 2013. Topics about “passing,” the boy’s club corporate culture, and morality are covered extensively in the novel.

Netflix released the official trailer showing some pleasing casting choices that includes Bradley Gibson (Power Book II: Ghost), Alexandra Turshen (Ray Donovan), Dominic Sherwood (Shadowhunters), Nolan Gerard Funk (The Flight Attendant), and Rob Heaps (Good Girls).

Partner Track premieres in Virgo Season, August 26, on Netflix.
